Delivery is FREE of Charge throughout the site within the British Isles with the exception of quoted orders which shall be quoted to illustrate units and courier costs. This cost shall be quoted to the customer prior to acceptance. Costs for delivery outside the UK shall be calculated in accordance with Liability terms. Orders will be dispatched using Royal Mail Recorded delivery or for larger parcels a Courier at the discretion of The Engraved Touch all deliveries will need to checked and signed for. Goods returned to The Engraved Touch described as undeliverable, will be subject to a redelivery charge.
Postage outside the UK will be calculated dependent upon the weight of the products ordered. For small orders these costs shall be calculated during the checkout process. For larger orders a quote is available upon request. Parcels leaving the British Isles shall be identified with a customs label identifying the contents of the parcel. This may be examined by customs.
Any dates provided for delivery are approximate only, and The Engraved Touch is not responsible for the timely receipt of goods once dispatched to the customer. As such, late deliveries will not be refunded, and payment will be pursued due to the personalised nature of our products. Orders not received within 7 working days of dispatch must be reported to The Engraved Touch by email. Failure to notify us within this period may result in The Engraved Touch not accepting any responsibility for items dispatched and not delivered/received.
The Engraved Touch wants you to be happy with what you purchase.
If you are not happy with the items you received we will refund them if they are sent back at the customer's expense in new resaleable condition within 14 working days along with the invoice and delivery note or Gift receipt. Please note we do not refund personalised gifts unless the item is faulty or we have made a mistake. We cannot be held responsible for the customers mistakes as we only work to the instructions you give us on the web site.
When returning an item we suggest for your own protection you use 1st class recorded delivery. Any refunds will only be issued once we have received the goods back at The Engraved Touch, in their original condition.
This refund only includes the total of goods sent not the delivery charge. We will not charge a restocking fee for returned items.
Any goods with manufacturing faults on arrival will be replaced or refunded. This does not affect your statutory rights. However a lot of the product we deal in are natural products (i.e. Wood and Slate) and will have their own characteristics and this does not come under manufacturing faults.
Your rights to return the goods to us will not apply in the following circumstances:
Any products that we have personalised or customised for you. By the very individual nature of the item being personalised, then they cannot be re-sold, and therefore we cannot accept them as returns if you have a change of mind.
Where, in our opinion, you have not taken reasonable care of goods whilst in your possession & not returned with the original packaging.
If you have made a spelling mistake on your order and it has already been shipped or has already been engraved.
If you return an item because of an error by The Engraved Touch, or because it is defective, we will be more than happy to refund the full value of the item & your costs upon receipt of the items return.
