Security

All account information is password protected. Where appropriate we use industry standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmission. All security on our websites is treated seriously and reviewed by our security & abuse team on a regular basis. We also undertake security steps, including extensive use of SSL technology, on our back end systems that store customer account information.

Alterations

The Engraved Touch shall endeavour to make amendments to requested orders as timely as possible. However if this request is received after the product has been engraved The Engraved Touch shall not be liable for the cost of a item being engraved again.

Variations

The Engraved Touch may vary, without any liability, the content of the website, including quotations, sales literature or other documents as long as such alterations do not materially affect the quality of the goods.
All products that engraved by laser, as such The Engraved Touch shall endeavour to match the colour, style and positioning on each item however The Engraved Touch is unable to guarantee an exact match.

Price

All prices listed on The Engraved Touch website are in British Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of postage within the British Isles with the exception of orders which shall illustrate a unit and courier cost. This cost shall be quoted to the customer prior to acceptance.
The Engraved Touch is entitled to increase the price of goods at any time prior to Engraving the product(s) due to factors beyond our control, however once the product(s) has been engraved The Engraved Touch will honour the price as per the email agreement with the customer.

Our Contract

A legally binding contract between The Engraved Touch and you when we must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an e-mail to you at the e-mail address that you provide in your order details. The Engraved Touch acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.

Design Service

The Engraved Touch offers an On Line Service that is designed to provide the customer with the opportunity to upload their own image to be engraved on our products. The Engraved Touch shall then resize the image to provide the customer with a product of optimal quality. The Engraved accepts no responsibility for poor quality images submitted to us. The better the image supplied to The Engraved the better the engraving.

Images

The Engraved Touch does not accept responsibility for the quality of images sent to us, 'the higher the quality of image the better the engraving'.
Licensed or copyright images, logos or trademarks must not be submitted to The Engraved Touch by the customer for reprint without the consent of the owner. The Engraved Touch shall not be liable for any claim or expense arising out of any illegal or libellous matter printed for the customer or any infringement of copyright or patent or similar right resulting from compliance of the customers instructions either expressed or implied. Any legal costs incurred in such matter shall be borne by the customer.

Website Engraving Matching

The Engraved Touch will endeavour to match engraving as closely as possible. Exact engraving matching is not always possible and The Engraved Touch is unable to guarantee an exact match. As such the customer has no right to reject or return the goods on these grounds. as such The Engraved Touch shall endeavour to match the engraving, style and positioning on each item however The Engraved Touch is unable to guarantee an exact match.

Damaged Goods

Damaged goods must be reported to The Engraved Touch within 48 hours of delivery by email, so a claim can be submitted to the postal/courier service, failure to do so and The Engraved Touch will not accept responsibility and the customer shall not be entitled to reject the goods.

Payment

All payments are processed through PayPal which accepts Delta, Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro, Solo, American express, and Visa Electron. The customer shall pay for all goods prior to Engraving and dispatch due to the personalised nature of trade unless otherwise agreed in writing between The Engraved Touch and the customer.

Gift Voucher Redemption

If you have a Gift Certificates, you can redeem it on the checkout process. Simply enter the Gift Certificates number and hit "Submit". You will see the Gift Voucher deducted from your total amount.

Cancellation

No goods are sold to the customer on a sale or return basis. The customer has no right to reject or return the goods without the consent of The Engraved Touch. As goods are personalised a 'cooling off' period is not applicable. Personalised items may not be exchanged or refunded should the customer information that was provided be incorrect at time of order. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Delivery

Any dates provided for delivery are approximate only, and The Engraved Touch is not responsible for the timely receipt of goods once dispatched to the customer. As such, late deliveries will not be refunded, and payment will be pursued due to the personalised nature of our products.
Orders not received within 7 working days of dispatch must be reported to The Engraved Touch by email. Failure to notify us within this period may result in The Engraved Touch not accepting any responsibility for items dispatched and not delivered/received.

Delivery costs

Delivery is FREE of Charge throughout the site within the British Isles with the exception of quoted orders which shall be quoted to illustrate units and courier costs. This cost shall be quoted to the customer prior to acceptance. Costs for delivery outside the UK shall be calculated in accordance with Liability terms. Orders will be dispatched using Royal Mail Recorded delivery or for larger parcels a Courier at the discretion of The Engraved Touch all deliveries will need to checked and signed for. Goods returned to The Engraved Touch described as undeliverable, will be subject to a redelivery charge.


Overseas delivery

Postage outside the UK will be calculated dependent upon the weight of the products ordered. For small orders these costs shall be calculated during the checkout process. For larger orders a quote is available upon request. Parcels leaving the British Isles shall be identified with a customs label identifying the contents of the parcel. This may be examined by customs.

Errors

The Engraved Touch does not accept responsibility for customer input or spelling mistakes on orders. 

Force majeure

The Engraved Touch shall have no liability to you for any damages or failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by conditions beyond its control including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions (including the denial or cancellation of any export of other necessary license), wars, insurrections and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party whose performance is affected.

Limitation of Liability

Although we take every care to ensure accuracy, The engraved Touch nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Website Liability

Whilst The Engraved Touch endeavours to keep the website and emails free from viruses, Trojans, worms and any other similar such ailments, The Engraved Touch shall not be liable to the customer or site visitors for any destructive results.

Invalidity of Terms and Conditions

If for any reason part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable; (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected. 

Governing Law

The contract between The Engraved Touch and you shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between The Engraved Touch and you.

The Engraved Touch is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
